To begin setting up your Trezor device, head to the official start page

Here, you’ll choose your device (Trezor Model One or Model T) and follow step-by-step setup instructions.

What's in the Box?

When you unbox your Trezor, you’ll find:

• 1x Trezor device (Model One or Model T)
• USB cable
• Recovery seed card(s)
• Instruction manual
• Trezor hologram seal (to verify authenticity)

1️⃣ Connect Your Device

Plug the Trezor into your computer using the included USB cable. Visit Trezor.io/Start, select your device, and follow the prompts to install Trezor Suite, the official desktop/web app.

2️⃣ Install Firmware

New devices come without firmware installed for security. The website will prompt you to install the latest firmware directly from Trezor.io. Always verify that you’re on the official site.

3️⃣ Create a New Wallet

Once the firmware is installed:

• Click “Create new wallet”
• Follow the on-screen instructions
• Save your 24-word recovery seed (write it down, never store digitally)

📝 Important: This seed is the only way to recover your wallet if your device is lost or damaged. Keep it offline and private.

4️⃣ Set Up a PIN

Choose a secure PIN to protect your Trezor from unauthorized physical access. Your device screen and computer screen will guide you through a blind-entry process to prevent spying.

🔁 Recovering an Existing Wallet?

If you’re switching devices or restoring a wallet:

• Select “Recover Wallet”
• Enter your 12/18/24-word recovery seed
